The Korea Medical Institute is expanding beyond traditional health screenings into long-term health management, unveiling a new corporate identity to mark its 41st anniversary on Oct. 29.
The move reflects the health screening provider's new vision, "Beyond Health Screening, Toward Health Care," which aims to help patients better understand their examination results and manage their health after checkups.
Founded in 1985, KMI operates eight screening centers nationwide, including three in Seoul — Gwanghwamun, Yeouido and Gangnam — and facilities in Suwon, Daegu, Busan, Gwangju and Jeju Island.
Having focused on early disease detection and prevention for more than four decades, the institute now plans to leverage its screening data and medical expertise to monitor changes in patients' health and provide ongoing management support.
The strategic shift comes alongside a refreshed corporate identity featuring a teal-blue logo designed to convey professionalism, trust and vitality.
The new design incorporates a "Vital Line" motif combining straight and curved lines to symbolize stability, systematic care and continuity in health management.
"Building on more than 40 years of protecting public health through medical checkups, we aim to take another step toward comprehensive health management," KMI Chairman Lee Kwang-bae said.
"We will serve as a lifelong health management partner, supporting people's health even after their checkups."
